The Corona stimulus package “Future Programme Hospitals” increases the available means for investments – especially for digitalization – by the hospitals to 3,9 bn Euro (co-funded by the federal government and the states). “As component of a targeted promotion of top-level medicine in result-oriented patient care, the department “Robotics in Medical Care” of BVMed e.V.”, which was founded in 2019, requests in a position paper that parts of the funds are to be reserved for robotic assisted systems.

Healthcare Heads got to contribute to this paper on behalf of a client and supports the demands. You can find the full document here.
