From this day forward, the German Institute for Medical Documentation and Information (DIMDI) belongs to the federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM).
The scope of exercise will not change in the first instance, even if the term “DIMDI” will not exist anymore. DIMDI’s web presence will still be available on the common website https://www.dimdi.de/dynamic/de/startseite.
What this change may imply for OPS-code proposals now or in the future remains unclear at the moment. Please find here the corresponding press release of DIMDI.
