The new portal of the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) www.gesund.bund.de is online.
According to the daily “Tagesspiegel”, it took four years to prepare and plan this portal which was launched online today.
The portal aims to improve the health education of the population through “objective, comprehensible and reliable health information” in order to “strengthen the health competence of the citizens, the self determination of patients “ and thereby support the “active involvement in one’s own treatment”.
