The German Hospital Federation, the National Health Insurance Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds (GKV-Spitzenverband), and the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds (PKV-Verband) have agreed on a 2026 federal prime rate (BBFW) of 4.570,64 €.
The rate is based on calculations of the Institute for the Hospital Reimbursement System (InEK).
The corridor limits are 4.684,90€ and 4.524,02€.
