2025 is the first time the decision was made to implement a year-to-date correction of the German state prime rates (LBFW). The decision came after the Federal Council's vote to immediately compensate for inflation at the beginning of June 2025 and leading to noticeable increases in the previous values. The fact that there are now two different state prime rates, one from January to May and another starting from June - has a direct impact on reimbursement.
