The German DRG Institute (InEK) published the list of results of the NUB proposal process for therapies according to ยง 4 Abs. 9 AMG (advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMP)).
The NUB process for ATMPs has been introduced in the Nub process for 2022.
Of 45 submitted proposal processes which refer to 12 different methods, 3 ATMPs became NUB status 1.
NUB status 1 means that the hospitals which submitted a NUB proposal for the respective method in time to InEK, are allowed to negotiate a NUB payment for these treatments performed in 2022 with the health insurances.
