On 1-30-2026 the InEK (Institute for the Hospital Reimbursement System) published the results of the 2025/2026 NUB evaluation.
Of the 1.084 proposals for NUBs, 326 (30%) have been granted status 1.
This means that the hospitals with a successful application can now negotiate a fee for this type of care with the health insurance funds.
