With the 26.2.2024 “Amendment FPV 2024”, the Institute for the Hospital Reimbursement System (InEK) has replaced the 2024 DRG catalog.
“Hybrid DRGs are synonymous with sector equal reimbursement. They are a fantastic idea to finally overcome the rigid separation in reimbursement for identical services between the outpatient and inpatient sector and thus break down the division between the two care sectors,” commented Sven Sauermann, Managing Director of the consulting agency Healthcare Heads, on the latest German reimbursement elements during a Reimbursement and Market Access Workshop.
