One year of DiGAs and the fast-track-process

Manufacturers of digital health applications (DiGAs) can submit an application at BfArM for the inclusion into the DiGA catalogue. Thereby the DiGAs can be prescribed to the expense of the statutory health insurances.

So far, 73 applications were submitted, 15 of them are listed in the DiGA catalogue already. As soon as a DiGA is included to the catalogue, it can be prescribed to the expense of the statutory health insurance.

Additionally to DiGAs, the so-called DiPAs (digital care applications) will take effect in summer 2021 (corresponding to the DVPMG law).

Since its introduction, the pathway into digital healthcare in Germany gained traction. We are looking forward to the upcoming development and are available for questions.
