Preliminary ICD-10-GM version 2023 published by BfArM

The BfArM published the preliminary version of the ICD 2023 on July 27th 2022.

With the publication of the preliminary version of the ICD-10-GM version 2023 by the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM), a new series of publications of various classifications started.

At the end of the year, they are meant to give a complete overview over the effective reimbursement system for the in-patient sector in 2023.The effects of these changes on the Reimbursement in the context of a changed DRG allocation in 2023 can only be answered at a later date – probably in fall of this year when additional information is available. We are at your disposal for further questions and analyses on this topic.

Please find here more information on Reimbursement in the in-patient sector.
