On 1-30-2024 the InEK (Institute for the Hospital Reimbursement System) published the results of the 2023/2024 NUB evaluation. Of the 981 proposals for NUBs, 288 (29%) have now been granted status 1.
This means that the hospitals with a successful application can now negotiate a fee for this type of care with the health insurance funds.
