InEK started the NUB proposal process for 2021 on September 1st.

The German NUB proposal process has been established to enable a Reimbursement negotiation between hospitals and health insurances for expensive therapies which are not represented appropriately in the G-DRG-system yet.

The NUB proposal process for 2021 was opened by InEK on September 1st. As of now, hospitals can submit their NUB proposals via the InEK website (“Datenportal”) until October 31st, 2020.

Aim of the proposal process is to give hospitals the opportunity to let InEK evaluate if they are allowed to negotiate an additional Reimbursement (NUB status 1) for innovative therapies with the payer.
