For this proposal, it is necessary to submit relevant data and information - such as information on market authorization (CE-mark MDD/MDR), pricing, the product itself and the medical procedure – to the Institute for hospital remuneration (InEK). InEK, which is entrusted with the maintenance and annual further development of the G-DRG system, usually develops the system on the basis of service data from all hospitals and cost data from the so-called reference hospitals.
